This is a Regency Romance that was made for historical romance fans. We fell in love with A Husband for Hire the first book in the Heirs & Spares series. Eleanor, is engagingly blunt, awkward, and completely out of place for her time, but so love-able and relatable that you can’t help but cheer her on. Miles, is smooth, charismatic, and genuinely a nice guy, if a bit under the weather financially. Their story checked all our classic romance boxes. We felt transported, and were completely thrilled with the journey.
Recommended for Historical Romance fans, that enjoy interesting, timely, classic romance with a realistic edge, and perfectly believable characters.
