Can you say Hawt?! We were fanning ourselves while reading The Swede, by Maureen Smith. This story checked all the boxes for a great contemporary romance read. Awesome larger than life male lead? Yes please! Strong, independent and completely original female lead? Absolutely. Indie Rocker meets Swedish hockey player. You don’t need to be a sports fan to love this book. This story has great chemistry, just enough romance, and some unforgettable characters.
This is a great series, and The Swede is our favorite book so far. Recommended for readers that like hot, sexy stories with the right balance of romance to heat, and well developed main characters.
