We were fanning ourselves while reading <b>  <i>The Swede<\/i><\/b>, by Maureen Smith. This story checked all the boxes for a great contemporary romance read. Awesome larger than life male lead? Yes please! Strong, independent and completely original female lead? Absolutely. Indie Rocker meets Swedish hockey player. You don&#8217;t need to be a sports fan to love this book. This story has great chemistry, just enough romance, and some unforgettable characters. <\/p>\n<p>This is a great series, and <i>The Swede<\/i> is our favorite book so far.
